Cromwell Gorge

… in late afternoon light.  You may well ask what we were doing there when we were meant to be out with the walking group!  Fourteen of us showed up at the lakefront.  The walk proceeded as planned, across the Albert Town swing bridge and along the Newcastle Track - but not for us.  Well over an hour into the walk The Tuner received a call saying he had an appointment in Dunstan at 3.15pm!  We set off back to the car, having abandoned our passengers to find lifts elsewhere!  Forms had been emailed at home and we were away, getting there in good time.  The plus was the beautiful light in the gorge on the way back.  One extra of the wetlands from above before we abandoned ship!  Late home, late blip.
