Do I have to?

Back to school today. They've offered early drop off for the first time. She wasn't impressed. It meant an afternoon in a different house with very little company. But it meant we could do the trip in the day and get most of the journey done in daylight, especially beneficial in the horrid weather that we experienced. But it meant Katie was very grumpy at drop off. 

The deputy head pastoral was on duty today, which is good as he'd said to me before he'd not met Katie yet and was hoping to because he'd heard a lot about her. She text me not long before bed and was unpacking, in her own room. A lot happier.
