Pussy Willow,  not sure which species this one belongs to.   I noticed it growing by the river on our walk this morning.   As it was blowing a gale and not a chance of taking pictures I brought a piece home to photograph. 
We've just had the most violent rain deluge that I can ever remember.   I honestly thought the kitchen windows were going to come crashing in with the force of the rain and wind on them, it's really quite terrifying.   Luna and I will be relieved when the wind dies down a bit.
