More Obvious

Veterans Breakfast Club at the Windjamner, a great start to a Saturday and fresh kippers made it even better. This was followed by a short meeting to go over Tuesdays RNA AGM at which I shall be absent.
Mrs S and I are heading off on a short three day-two night break for our silver wedding anniversary.

Home from the meeting, via the car jet wash, new hub caps fitted, one has been ‘appropriated’ by someone in more need of it than me and a bit of a quick car internal tidy ready for Monday.

Paddy and I set off on our afternoon walk, the “No Entry” sign at the entrance to Madeira Walk was studiously ignored, after all we could always turn back, and eventually we came across the cause. By the looks of the tree the council had already started to make it safe, fresh saw cuts, Paddy was a little bemused by it so gave it a wide berth. Lots more debris in the cemetery and to Paddy’s great delight dozens of good sized pine cones.
