Florida Cracker kitchen
Debra and I went to the Knap-in Primitive Arts Festival at the Silver Springs State Park. We toured the Cracker Village, where I took this still life. Crackers were Central Florida settlers of European descent. The Knap-in is about primitive arts. Knapping arrowheads, carving dug-out canoes, rope and twine making from local plants, tanning hides, as well as blacksmithing and woodworking with hand tools. I love the rip in the table cloth in this sill life.
