Eunice

We are very lucky here in the Black Country - it has been a bit windy, but nothing exceptional. In order to try to capture the effect of the wind I had to use a 4 second exposure, and as you can see there is not much movement - even though it was a hand-held shot!

My Olympus EM-1ii does not have the ND effects of later models, so I resorted to using an iPhone app on my elderly iPhone 6 (I can't find anything equivalent for the more recent Samsung).

Despite the lack of spectacular storms, it has been an exciting day, as a female blackcap visited the peanut feeder in the morning - it must be a couple of years since I've had one in the garden, and they have only ever been rare visitors.

To those who have had a bad time with Dudley and Eunice, I send my sympathy.
