A social day
We had a leisurely breakfast then went out for a walk in the sun. As we walked along Kohi Beach we bumped into the daughter and sister of a friend of ours and had a nice chat. Then a little further along the beach we bumped into our ex-neighbours and had a nice chat with them. We suddenly realised it was after midday and had to scoot home as hubby’s sourdough was in need of attention.
Later in the afternoon we had the AGM for our little block of six apartments and one adjacent cottage. The AGM started at 4pm and, when the business part of the proceedings was over, we had drinks and nibbles and lots of chat. We met the new owners of apartment 3, and also the lovely lady they’ve rented it to until such time as they’re ready to move in. It was a very social gathering and we finally wandered downstairs at 7:30pm. Dinner was definitely not required.
The blip is of the beach at St Heliers with Rangitoto in the background.
