Making More Deli Paper
A girlfriend came over tonight and we made deli paper with my gelli press...she loved the results, and it was fun to see how different our papers were.
Deli paper is the paper they put under a hamburger in a hamburger basket....you can buy it at Costco in the US, or any large grocery store. It comes in boxes of 500, and is waxed on one side, and paintable on the other. It's thin and rather transparent, making it perfect for "collage" artwork. You can use an old credit card to spread acrylic paint on it, then stamp it, or paint it, or use the "gelli press" to add more layers of paint and texture.
Another crazy day...got a haircut, a massage, and got lots accomplished. Also heard that I will be doing another radio interview next Tuesday morning...oh fun!!!
