Stanford Hall - VW Show

Journeyed all the way from Southwater up to Stanford on Avon - took about 2 hours.

Lots of nice shinny things, rusty things, expensive things...

It's a really nice show as it's set in the grounds of an old manor house surrounded by the river avon. Lots of different german cars turn up from Audi's to Porsche's and all sorts of VW's, both old an new.

Saw a splitty pannel van for sale for £8500. I really wanted it - but I don't have that kind of cash lying around. Still we have a plan to sell the pick up - potentially my beetle too and borrow the remaining if need be. There were a couple of splitty campers for sale too - but £25K is way out of our reach.

Leaft the show about 4ish and went to visit my friend in Ratby only about 3 years since they moved their - opps. It was good to see them - their house and cats! Played some old games - Gauntlet and Mashed then drove home. We left about 9:15 ish and didn't get back till 11:30!

Still - no work tommorrow yeay!!!
