Ghillie

A and S, plus H and N visiting them, have all been struggling since the storm with no electricity at home and no clear idea when it will be restored. So we offered to cook dinner for them here and of course Ghillie came with them. He played his usual game of being terrified of and fascinated by Leela the whole time he was here. It’s strange how cats tend to rule over dogs in most situations, yet often run away if the dog is bold enough to go towards them.
Dinner was good but I’ve eaten too much and now feel bloated. While they were here we had a power cut ourselves but it only lasted about 20 minutes, though that was long enough for us to find every candle we had and light them all around the house.
Planning a trip to Brighton tomorrow via the dump as the car is still full of shed contents
