Calm waters

It was hard to imagine all those people who have been hit by recent storms as we strolled by the lake this morning, which was as smooth as a mill pond. So much so, that I could actually see the layer of pollen on the top. This meant the rest of the day I spent indoors as my allergies were bad. I spent it usefully, studying Italian and writing down some really good notes!
