Bern, day 2
This is taken from the Nydeck bridge looking down into the River Aare. I love the architecture of the houses.
After breakfast, we wandered down to see the bears, who were hibernating, then on to the Paul Klee museum. This ended up being really disappointing as the centre has over 4,000 pieces of his work but only drawings from 1933-35 were on view. There were none of his colourful paintings which is what we’d gone to see. Yet the shop was full of the paintings printed as postcards.
Left Bern mid afternoon and took the train home again just in time to watch Loughborough Lightning who our son is currently working with. A gréât win.
