What is wrong with blipfoto?!

For the past few days I've tried to upload photos I've taken for that days blip. I've been able to type in the title but it refuses to let me type in the main comments. It will only let me upload photos taken immediately before uploading. Hence the trusty cat by photo. The app keeps crashing too. Anyone else had problems? Wondering if the latest Android upgrade has jinxed it :(
