Traction Engine
Not a garden day as it was grey, wet and miserable when I got up. Decided against to go up the coast to Llandudno to see the Victorian extravaganza, it's usually a great event.
We got onto the A55 which was gridlocked leaving Wales, hardly any traffic in our direction which was good. Passed through Rhos on Sea who were having their own bank holiday amusements with a fun fair and lots of stalls.
Couldn't believe how many police there were, obviously come mob handed, expecting trouble?? or just their presence was enough of a preventative. Anyway I digress, got to Llandudno, pouring with rain, couldn't find a parking space so we turned around and headed home. Quick blip through the window today and a play in PS, going to use this one in my college work to show selective colour.
We stopped off at subway after dodging every idiot on the road and was home by 3pm.
Have spent the rest of the day doing college stuff, only two more images to go and then I"m finished. Just got to then get them developed and mounted. Think I'm back on track.
Can't believe we are still having to BOIL water to drink and prepare food, this has been going on since Wednesday last week. Flintshire and Denbighshire are affected. There has been a van with a loud hailer going around tell people to boil as a precaution. The water is contaminated with coliform, so they are trying to find the source and restore us to normal.
This may take some time.
Hope everyone has had a great weekend, and holiday Monday for everyone who is having one x
