Prelude to Eunice

Anticipating the forecast strong winds this morning, the unexpected calmness tempted me out for a run. There was even a little bit of sunshine. I reasoned that if I headed west then I could just turn around if it got too lively. This was that point.

It proved to be a wild afternoon here but nothing as bad as it was in the south and west of the country. We got let off relatively lightly.
