Snow joke

We were up and out early doors this morning as we’d planned to go into town and get breakfast together before Mr A went off to work.

The forecast said sleet, so the flurry of snow that arrived took us totally by surprise.

I had a few errands to do round town and quickly discovered (walking through the slush) that my Ugg boots are not waterproof!

The blip is St James church, which is in the town centre of Accrington. You can see how hard the snow is falling, even though the ground cover isn’t that bad.

I’ve finally got round to ordering some new glasses and also got a new battery in a watch that’s been largely redundant for a couple of years. Bizarrely, he didn’t have to adjust the time at all as it was exactly the time on the watch when he did it. I doubt I could do that again if I tried!

Mr A came home early as the match he was meant to be filming got called off, so I got more of my weekend with him. :-)
