Standing tall.

Another back blip, this is the tree outside of the New York Stadium, lit up by the lights and standing tall.

Last night saw us at home for what felt like for me the first time in a long time. I had some trepidation about this game, 1st vs 2nd both vying for automatic promotion. We started well, much better than Sunday, but due to an awful linesman failing to see any offsides on his side for the game, Wigan scored a goal, this set my nerves jangling, we were the better side but just couldn’t convert those chances.

In the second half the chance came, Ollie Rathbone who deservedly got man of the match as he absolutely ran his skin off, scored an absolute wonder strike!! The crowd went wild, from there we definitely were the better side but just couldn’t find a sneaky winner.

Prior to this game I said it was a do not lose nothing else mattered. In that respect the objective was achieved and we head on to our next game against Morecambe on Tuesday.
