More weather!

This morning was still windy as storm Eunice was finally passing over, and then suddenly the wind dropped completely and we had heavy snow. (The BBC forecast was calling it 'some sleet showers'.)
This caused immediate gridlock all over town as everyone decided to head home at once.
This was a view through the heavy snow on the Stray. I also snapped this little bird foraging around in the snow in the first extra. I think it is a redwing. 
The second extra shows the remains of a large tree that was brought down by the winds yesterday afternoon. It damaged an old cabman's shelter, but fortunately no one was injured.
