Bloody Eunice
As so many of us in the UK we spent the whole day watching bloody Euince do her worst. Thankfully her worst was 'only' several fence panels. Rob was in and out like a weather vane man trying to save the first panel with the beautiful ceanothus on it, then the roses. In the end some of the panels fell and he took the others out before they broke. None of them are ours - they run along the back of several gardens that back onto our garden. They are all new builds and the builder was a shyster so the fences have never been put up properly. Not cemented in so several panels have fallen before today and they've only been up about 3 years.
Anyway he was able to put up the sheep fencing we use when they yeepies need shearing so Ruben won't go wandering into other peoples gardens and their dogs won't come into ours. No idea when they'll be repaired.
Adam and Jennie's fence also being held up with poles and garden implements atm so Rob and Adam are hoping to be able to repair those panels at some point.
Treated myself to a couple of home measures of gin as we'd got through the day relatively unscathed.
Ruben and Butty had a little sesh in the evening. Showing storm Eu-Not-Nice that she can take our fences but she'll never take our love.
