Grey Heron
I think the young one was watching for me from the top of the Dovecote. I spotted her running towards the entrance to the park so had to up my own pace or I would have been feeding her in the street. We both got to the gate about the same time so I walked her on to the grass. She had most of her food but stopped suddenly went bolt upright then took off, just as a guy with 2 dogs came round the corner. I felt sure she would be heading to the drainage area in the loch so made my way there. Sure enough there she was craning her neck to make sure I was coming. I finished feeding her then made my way back. There was no sign of the male today.
In other news...Morag seems more herself today. It will take time for the swelling to go down and the scratches to heal but she seemed a bit brighter and less sore looking.
