It's amazing how quickly times goes once the usual routine is back in place.
I had to pop into school to meet with Jed's teacher to discuss his progress. Jed has always found English tricky and especially spellings. He is now in Yr 5 and still struggles. Back in Yr 1 I mentioned to the teachers that he might be dyslexic but
they ignored the idea. Now, in Yr 5, they have told me that he will be assessed for dyslexia. I am just grateful that he now will get the help he needs. His teacher was full of praise for him, saying that he is a delight to teach, super intelligent and pleasant.
I had home visits this morning before returning to the hospital. One of my patients was a traveller and she was interesting to talk to....on leaving she gave me a leaflet about how my dreams will come true if I discover God...
