I wish I were as close to you

As two phlox side by side

Then I could look you in the eye

and give a hug when so inclined

For today my favorite plant is the Creeping Phlox in the back yard rock garden. While most are still semi-dormant, these hardy, compact mounds are green as green can be and tightly packed with luscious, tiny blooms.

Blip siesta over! Back to the outside where it's bright and sunny...
