Relative calm

Jersey got off quite lightly today, as far as I know. I think we were just on the edge of Storm Eunice. High tide was feisty and the wind was strong, but nothing compared to the devastation in the UK that I've just watched on the news. Hopefully that's the worst of it over, but sad there have been lives lost and so much damage and disruption. 

I spent the day working and was thankful to be at home. despite ending up with that 'screenmy' feeling.
