Eunice

Today started with a windy walk and debating plans for tonight.  Snowdrops spotted en route.  No.1 was home and driving to Margate later for hen do.  I was driving to my sisters and going to the theatre in Basingstoke.  We both decided to take a rain(wind) check and see what happened to storm Eunice later in the day before deciding.  However it seemed as though the storm was abating so No.1 set off for Margate and I drove to Bentley.  The roads were a lot quieter than normal and although a bit ‘gusty’ I arrived in good time.  We had a cup of tea and chatted and my sister had a missed call from Basingstoke.  He phone rang again only to hear the theatre had cancelled (with two hours notice).  Annoying but we still went out for a lovely meal at Cote, by which time the winds had eased and hopefully the storm has now passed.  No.1 also arrived in Margate ready to start the pre- wedding fun.  Here’s hoping tomorrow is a calmer day and the sun shines.
