Eunice…

Did her stuff today.

I have spent a lot of the day looking out the windows watching the trees flail around like womping willows (Harry Potter).  One side of our garden runs along the common and therefore has lots of trees.  One large branch broke off but fell onto the common side rather than our garden and I understand there are some trees down in the cemetery but I haven’t ventured out to see.  Apart from the high winds, the weather itself has changed every 5 minutes or so.  From bright blue skies to cloud bringing squally showers and then back to blue skies and as we sat down for dinner we could hear noisy rain.  Looking out the front door it was white from hailstones.

A couple of weeks ago the groundsmen knocked and told Mr C that we had a couple of roof tiles loose and should they come down they could cause injury.  Mr C reported it to the correct department and the cemetery, rightly so, cordoned off around our house.  Although we believe someone has been to look at the roof as yet it hasn’t been fixed and as you can see one came down today. Luckily, landing in the cordoned off area.  Another one is balancing in the guttering.  Let’s hope they come and fix it soon.
