Battered Icon (Sugar Free), Aylesford

I was really unsure about going into work today due to the storm warnings and also my train company recommending not to travel today. After my first train was cancelled and then a red alert was issued by the Met Office my mind was made up and I decided not to go in to work.
Almost right on cue , as the forecasters predicted, the wind really got up so I felt very lucky to be at home, even more so when by early afternoon all trains in Kent were cancelled so I would have had no way of getting home if I had gone in.
Just went for a short, very windy walk up to the shops and this is when I saw this bleached out and battered Coke can. I found it strangely rather beautiful in it's bashed up way and loved how it looked on this red background. It was almost as if the can's original colour had flooded out on to the material.
