Storm Eunice...

wow! what an experience that was!!  An insane day of winds here in south essex - think a gust was reported at 75mph nearby at Southend airport.. but we're still here!

Thankfully I made a lot of stuff safe in the garden yesterday, so today we only had 1 fence panel down which was falling down anyway so I knew it would wobble a bit further!  Otherwise it's been a day of watching out the window, and also watching 8 hours of Big Jet TV coverage live from Heathrow on Youtube!  I've been watching for a couple of years already but the channel has been all over Twitter and the media today with over 200,000 viewers watching planes land at one point!  All while the presenter is filming on top of his van, in a field surrounded by horses!  It makes for wonderful viewing but not for being productive!!  I did start sorting through boxes of photos though so it wasn't a completely wasted day and has just made me realise I need to stop taking so many photos and get rid of more haha!!

A very pretty sunset sky to finish the day! Winds are still about but nowhere near the intensity now - thankfully! Now for an evening of cross stitching and tv watching!
