Paper Nautilus shell
My sister was extremely lucky to find this beautiful, unbroken, Nautilus shell on Pollock beach. She had it box framed and it looks lovely on the family room wall One rarely finds them intact as they are so delicate. "'The argonaut, or paper nautilus, is actually an octopus. Females make a parchment-like shell to carry incubating eggs and control where they swim in the water column." I played golf today in lovely conditions - the strong wind arrived as we were ending!
