In The Countryside
Thursday - The wind had died down from the previous day of Storm Dudley and it was quite bright and sunny.too, so having dropped off Mrs IU into town and to the market, I drove off into the countryside hills just exploring to see what caught my eye.
Sometimes, it seems you can drive miles and miles down small country lanes and nothing catches the eye, but on this occasion, I was quite lucky and as I drove around a bend in the road, I saw these sheep grazing.with a nice landscape view as a backdrop. Luckily, there was a small place to pull over and park, even though it was quite muddy, so care was needed as I did not want to transfer too much mud into Mrs IU's car, even though I knew that it is my responsibility to keep both cars clean.
I tried to get the sheep to smile and pose for the photo, but they just kept wandering around making sheep noises...i guess like sheep do.
And with a couple of photos taken, it was time to bid farewell to the sheep and get back to town for the pickup, remembering of course about not hetting too much.mud oto the rubber mats.
The rest of the day seemed to go by pretty quickly with lots of warning messages popping up on TV and the iPad about Storm Eunice heading our way which did not sound good at all, especially as we had become a red alert area..
