Better day today.

The lost ring situation is getting sorted, they are paying us the value of the ring. Nothing will be able to replace it sentimentally though.

And David’s mother has come out of surgery well, still in hospital. I visited her today and she seemed pretty good. Will be a while before she’s back home though I think.

I’m looking forward to a quiet weekend, even though I’m working a few hours.
