X marks the spot

Roo was signed off by the vet today.

She has been having eye drops and regular visits for months and months. The ulcer is still healing and she has scarring that won't go but there was a point where I thought we might lose her so it is a positive outcome. It will be her thirteeth birthday later this month. Definitely a cause for celebration.

The latest storms have been named Dudley and Eunice.  The most unlikely choices in my mind, conjuring up images of nothing ferocious at all yet I find myself unusually and disproportionately fearful and agitated.  I mostly avoid news coverage these days. It is not helpful.  Must try harder.  I am definitely in flight/hide mode today.
