It's official!

Spring has arrived! Even if (when) we have some more cold, wet weather, spring is here. Today I saw a new crop of migratory birds, tiny green leaves unfolding on a few of the trees in the park, and loads of people enjoying the sunshine and temperatures that reached toward 70 degrees Fahrenheit. On top of all that excitement, I spotted this yellow-bellied sapsucker (adult male), and I don't think he has been posted on the BlipBigYear yet. I had to crop considerably because he refused to come in close. Hope I haven't overdone the processing. I am still experimenting with LR4. This was a red-letter day!
