Nadine Pierce, a snapshot

The calm between the storms

It was a blustery night and a snow showery kinda morning but we came through Dudley unscathed.
I headed out for a walk (I know, check me!!) and managed to get sunshine throughout, although the biting wind made it a little more challenging.

I've got myself another new market booked, they're starting to stack up nicely. I also spent some time working out which of my fragrances will be affected by the upcoming ban on Lilial. No grace period for this one like other changes, from 1st March it will be illegal to sell anything which has more than 0.3% of butylphenyl methylpropional in it. My Bluebell diffusers will need to go but think I can get away with lowering the % of oil enough to still get a decent fragrance throw in the candle. Another candle I was already phasing out is the only other casualty - phew!

It was lovely seeing Sandi Toksvig in Lee Bay just a couple of miles from where I grew up this evening in her Extraordinary Escapes programme.

All being as forecast, we should be waking up in Narnia. Heavy snow is forecast from the early hours and all through tomorrow - yay!
