Gabrial Dia's Photos ...

... at the Biblioteque Francois Mitterand, which we visited this afternoon, to see an exhibition of prize-winning photos.  We found Gabriel Dia's the most interesting of the five or six photographers whose work was featured.  Dia is originally from Senegal but moved to France when he was 18. These works in his so-called Fragments Series explore his reconnection with his senses after they were subdued in his youth. 

We've gone from yesterday's near monotone blip to a brilliant splash of color !!
