Beware ... Loose Stair Carpet

I met up with my pal, John for lunch and to have a last catch up about our forthcoming trip to Iceland. After lunch at the Kings Arms in Otterton we took a walk down the River Otter with Spike, John's border collie. There's a lot of work going on there, probably linked with the restoration of the flood plains down stream. My blip is of the fish pass beside the weir.

We're battening down the hatches for Storm Eunice which is coming in tonight. There's a rare Red warning (flying debris, danger to life) for the north of the county but I think we're in the amber zone here, it's not totally clear but it's going to be blowy and I won't be going far.
