Daffodils by the side of the lane……

……having survived the extra strong winds of last evening and night.
Storm Eunice is due to hit our shores further south, sometime in the small hours of tomorrow morning.
I’ve just put our wheelie bins in the garage just in case.
They are forecasting more than 80 miles per hour winds, albeit a bit further south.
All the schools in Wales have been closed this afternoon.
It’s strange really as it’s been springlike until around 4.30pm.
I can see the trees blowing about a bit more outside as I write.
Our cheerful twosome are still busy in the kitchen putting in some of the finishing touches.
Raymond, the carpenter, is worth his weight in gold. He is a perfectionist.
We now have our sink, and washing machine able to function once again!
Had a long interesting conversation with them both this afternoon.
