On a very windy visit...

... to the RHS gardens this morning, some friendly birds were willing to pose for photos, whilst I sat on a nearby bench. 

It was very good of them to pose because the area around, and including, the bird hide was out of bounds, due to the very strong winds.

The female blackbird  even changed poses a few times. The great tit, in my extra, was a bit more lively but still behaved well for the camera.
