Bizarre brass.

A terrible photo of a wonderful moment.

I was walking the dog through town and came across these guys, playing in the very grand Place de la Bourse, on what seemed to be home-made brass instruments. They were a little out of tune, a little buzzy and tinny-sounding, but they were played with gusto!

"C'est pour ça qu'on aime Bordeaux."
