Half-marathon PB!

After an early start and a bit of a detour around Blackpool, Laura, Andy and I arrived at Blackpool FC ready for the race. The conditions were perfect for running and I actually enjoyed this coastal half-marathon, most of the way round anyway! My target was to get a sub 2 hour time and I beat this by 6 minutes coming in just under 1hr 54. Well chuffed.

After that I became a supporter and went back to the race to watch the incredible marathon runners. Big respect to them all, but particularly Andy and Laura who completed the full distance in just under 4 and 5 hours respectively. Even with their training not going the way they had hoped they were truly amazing. I wonder if I could have done it...maybe it's time to find out!
