In Darwin's Study

A collage using vintage illustrations and a lot of meticulous cutting.  Of course, two monkeys had to take pride of place.  Doing it reminded me of Inherit the Wind, the American film drama, released in 1960, that was inspired by the famous Scopes Trial of 1925, in which a Tennessee high-school teacher was arrested and prosecuted for teaching Charles Darwin's theory of evolution.  One hundred years later some are trying to put teachers on trial again for teaching about racial issues and, again, banning books.  The more things change, the more they stay the same.
