Shambles

I braved the wrath of Dudley after slipping into my lead boots and walked through “the shambles” to join the queue in the chemists to collect a prescription for auntie. After a lengthy wait I was told that the items I had come to collect were in a delivery not yet opened, and if I popped in tomorrow afternoon it would be ready.
A shortage of pharmacists (partly due to the pandemic) has forced the chemist to close sometimes at short notice, this in turn has caused a few impatient customers to be rude to staff working there resulting in staff leaving and finding alternative employment.
