On the edge...

This is me doing something I haven't done for years. Abseiling!

With the family for a couple of days in north west highlands of Scotland being mega-active with the infinitely patient and capable Ken Keith, who runs Highland Adventures (www.highlandadventures.co.uk) from his home seven miles north of Ullapool.

Today we went abseiling & rock-climbing at stunning locations of Achmellvich and Reiff respectively.

My husband and I have done a lot of hillwalking but this is a great way to get us all out of our (screen) comfort zones.

Today we all pushed ourselves to the max. My son, daughter, husband & me. Too puffed out to wax lyrical but it was fab.

(Even the dog had a great day with Theresa, Ken's wife... Fleecey hats in the air all round!)
