Summer Fun

Another hot day, +26C.  This morning I parked by the lake, which is where I got this photo, then drove to Bremner Bay, and walked from there back into town.  Clocked up 10K steps, which leaves me the afternoon free to watch the Winter Olympics.  I did manage to pull a few weeds before they started.  Not many more days to go.  I have found them most interesting, especially the curling and cross country skiing.

The extra is Rose hips that are growing by the lake.  I can remember picking the Rose hips after the war, as they were an excellent source of Vitamin C.  No need to do that any more.
