Making up for Lost Time

A blip blank day yesterday, I was off to Birmingham with Ruth.   A little packing, a last visit to the new place before completion and home again, leaving Ruth and others to complete the packing.    Home just after midnight, via a meal with C & I in Shropshire and a supermarket shop.  No piccies!

Meg had a raw deal walk-wise yesterday so today we put things right.  It hadn't seemed likely when the heavens opened mid-afternoon but in the next dry slot I set off via Jamie's where he, Tim and Bella joined us for a walk down Gwalia.   A sliver of blue sky in the north gradually grew as the clouds rolled back right on time for us!   We parted ways as the sun dipped low in the west, Jamie back home while Meg and I carried on to Broadwater where we watched the sun set - extra pic.   To give us both some proper exercise, I opted for the scenic - and much longer - route back.   Along the Dysynni to Ynysymaengwyn then back into Tywyn along the footpath by the main road - about 6km in all.   This was taken as dusk fell, around 550pm.  The ripples on the river are most likely the tidal bore.   It was proper dark by the time we got back.   A good meal on my own - first time this year - after a good walk.  Nice day.
