Climbed up the spout

So yesterday morning, I went into the shower and spotted Nev sitting in the bath as I switched the shower on. 

Being environmentally-friendly (is that the right word? ) I took a piece of loo roll to form an escape ladder for Nev, but sadly, since the shower was on , the loo roll washed away. 

So I picked up the soap dish, with the intention of scooping Nev up and putting him in a place of safety. 

Sadly I missed the fact that there was a little bar of soap in the tray and it fell out and landed on Nev. 

I picked it up, very gingerly, and Nev was still there, but with a big brown streak running out the back of him. 

I got him into the soap dish and placed him on a shelf, at which point he did run under the shelf to safety. 

He is still there today. (and I figure is alive since he is sitting on the wall). 

I did not know that spiders could shit themselves. 

But I suppose if a bar of soap the size of my house landed on me, I'd be pretty dang proud that shitting myself was all I did.
