Early Bird

Started the day listening to the Newscast & Americast podcasts. They both covered the announcement that the Duke of York had settled with Virginia Giuffre.

Despite what he may have said previously about wanting his day in court, I knew that this would be the outcome.

You only have to watch that famous interview with Emily Maitlis to know that no one was ever going to allow him to take the stand again.

Clearly I don’t know the details of who is telling the truth here, but given what was already in the public domain, it is disgusting what some people will overlook if they are dealing with someone with money.
