Male shoveler duck

We went for a walk around Burton Mere this lunchtime in the strong winds but at least we missed the rain. There were no small birds out but we saw several waders and ducks. We also saw herons flying with nesting material in their beaks but they were rather far away. This shoveler duck made an easier blip.
