Afternoon walk. Been a bit of forest management here recently, some thinning and trimming. In places there’s now a clear line of sight through the stand of trees. We had a nice carry out coffee a few miles away afterwards.

Media reporting that free PCR and lateral flow tests are set to be scrapped in England next week as the UK Government pushes forward with its 'Living with Covid strategy.’ UK Health Security Agency, pka Public Health England, told LBC they are worried the plans will damage the ability to spot and track new variants. They’re correct. Fortunately Health is Devolved. Separately Wales Gov has announced they’re to offer Covid19 vaccinations to 5-11 year olds. Scotland will follow tomorrow I suspect.
