Anemone

I explored the ledges and rocks of Hope’s Nose today. (Extra Blip).
Just one shallow pool was home to these Snakelocks Anemones.
Found in the English Channel & West coast UK, they get energy from photosynthetic algae (the purple tips) and the tentacles sting passing prey. Sounds like they’ve got it sorted.
