The Eyes Have It

Pat has been quite unwell over the last few days with a stomach bug.

Yesterday she made an appointment to see a Doctor at our health centre and we attended there in the afternoon. After a fairly thorough examination she was pronounced fit and well, providing she took care.

We went home and spent the remainder of the day quietly.

Today Pat felt well enough to deliver a portrait she had completed to a dear friend. The portrait is of her husband who died some fifteen years ago.

The portrait is a complete surprise and the portrait was tearfully received.

We then enjoyed lunch and Pat explained how she had created the portrait.
